The rest of Sunday - Family Week!

We took Kirstie half-way back and then went back to camp to start Family Week! I think I can speak for all of my family (except the cats - haha) when I say that this is our favorite week of the whole year!
Seems like each year one of the first things we do is the sandbox....

Last of Little Lambs

Gabie was not wanting to get up the last morning of Little Lambs
Late the night before Eliya and Kirstie's counselor had brought the girls to our room since they were feeling homesick, so they slept on the floor together in our room.



Gabie was picked again - this time for flag raising.

This was the cabin that they stayed in for their discovery camp down in the girl's village.

Apparently there were tonado warnings during the evening program time - I thought that sounded crazy since the weather didn't seem bad at all, but when I looked at the radar thing, sure enough it said tornado warning, so our evening program was inside - a variety of relay games. I was very impressed with the amound of different relays they came up with to keep the kids busy.

With the storms all past we were on our way out to the point for campfire and we found a little frog (toad) and the girls were facinated.

Gabie LOVED going over by the lake at campfire and throwing stuff in like sticks and rocks.

Little Lambs/Discovery Camp

On Friday we were off to camp! What was extra exciting was that Kirstie came with us. Eliya and Kirstie went to Discovery camp together, which is a camp where you just go for the weekend (first time trying out being away). While Gabie and I went to Little Lambs together (a parent/child camp for the weekend). The great thing is that a lot of our activities overlapped so I was able to get some pictures of E and K as well as G for the weekend. While the older girls and I went to camp, Mark and the younger two went and stayed at his parents in Long Prairie.

Sarah even had bracelets along for the girls that said 'best friends'
