Too Tired!

We told Rachel to go in and go potty and she was so tired that this is all the further she made it...

Favorite Babysitters

We were able to get one last time with the girls' favorite babysitters - Samatha came Saturday night so we could go back to the wedding dance after Mark got done with church at Seneca and Lebannon (3 services in one day - whew!). Then on Monday night there was a Kindergarten parent's orientation at the school that we were instructed (by Eliya) that she needed a babysitter for - this was for parents only. :)

So we called Bailey and she brought Jessika with her so the girls got two fun friends on Monday night.

Homecoming Parade

Eliya got to be in the homecoming parade this year with her class. The theme was Decades and their class had the 60's. The girl's came home with quite a haul of candy and the floats were fun to watch. Do to chilly rain we stayed home from the game though.

We tried getting Rachel to take a pic with Samatha but no go, she would only let Bailey hold her and still wouldn't smile.

Quite a Statement

"Every day 3,200 babies die from abortion in our United States"

The LCMS Nebraska District Lutheran's for Life group has a traveling display of crosses that churches can put out to show the number of abortions performed every day in the U.S. ~ makes quite a statement to see 3,200 crosses symbolizing the graves of those precious little babies. This was on display at my parents church in Lexington, NE when we went home for my great aunt's funeral.

Lite Brite!

We had a big garage sale at my parent's house and as we were going through stuff we found our old lite brite! The girls and I had fun doing a picture. We tried to then sell it on the garage sale, but no takers so I guess we'll have fun with it again next time we go to nana and papa's house!

Funeral

My great aunt Arlene passed away this past weekend. We were sad thinking of all the memories with her, but very happy that she is at peace with Jesus! The girls and I left on Tuesday to drive down to the funeral. The kids were playing out in the aisle, so I got a couple of quick pics before we were ushered out. The girls enjoyed meeting their distant cousins Ethan and Olivia - they shared their care bears with Olivia during the service.

Behind Again

So i find myself behind again in updates...I'll get some pictures on here hopefully yet today. Here's what's going on in the Moldenhauer household:

Eliya - continues to enjoy school. She HATES getting up in the morning though.

Gabie - is enjoying getting some mommy preschool time (more on that in a bit) and has been learning to write her name.

Rachel - enjoying time with friends, had her follow-up appointment with the ENT last Wednesday and was declared a-okay! She also hates to ever be left if someone is going somewhere - "No weave weeout me!!!" :)

Mark - has a call to Amherst, Wisconsin. The two of us went to visit the community and congregation last week with Rachel. Nana came and stayed with Elie and Gabie so they could avoid the long trip.

Allison - is currently doing a preschool program here in town at the girl's daycare, waiting to see if we will continue to be living here or in Wisconsin and enjoying being at home with the girls in the meantime.

Going Home

We spent the night at Alice and Fred's house on the way back from Amherst. Saturday morning we found Rachel asleep just like this with her hands folded - it brought tears to my eyes it was so precious!
